In emails, voice mails and faxes, you should identify yourself completely and clearly so that we can confirm the source and contact you with any questions we may have.
If you believe your news is extremely urgent, you should phone or email it directly to the editor on duty. Please, don't contact the editor on duty directly unless you believe your news merits immediate attention and posting. Use news@tvnewsday.com for routine matters. Remember, our goal is to post news as quickly as possible, so even "routine matters" are handled promptly.
