WEIGEL BROADCASTING HIRES HARVEY MOSHMAN
Weigel Broadcasting Co. has hired Chicago producer/writer/editor Harvey Moshman to be the station group’s executive producer, program development, charged with growing Weigel Broadcasting's local and national programs. His appointment is effective June 2.
His primary focus will be overseeing First Business, Weigel’s nationally syndicated daily business news program that is seen in 70 percent of the United States and internationally on Voice of America.
Moshman Chicago news and programming credits include senior producer, special projects at WBBM, series producer of Wild Chicago at WTTW, field producing for WGN-TV news and news editor at WMAQ.
Moshman is also an award-winning producer of documentaries and specials. His honors include 25 Midwest Emmys, 2 silver awards from the New York Film Festival and 1 silver award from the Chicago Film Festival.
